Description
The turbine has a design with a low resistance for better power in the weak wind and is encapsulated in a fully closed cover of pressure cast aluminum. There are no brushes that wear or cause electrical noise, and the bearings are sealed, so the system does not require maintenance. The blades are made of nylon for high strength, UV resistance and damage resistance.
The turbine is available in the 12V and 24V battery systems. The controller automatically selects the charging voltage based on the battery voltage. The turbine also includes an integrated charging regulator with an integrated load.
Rotor sheet diameter of the 400W version is 1.12 meters. The 6List design offers better power in low wind and reduced vibration at high speed. The TPW wind turbines have automatic speed overrun protection to prevent damage to strong winds. The blade assembly is removable as 1 piece for protection from a hurricane and for easy return assembly. The permanent magnets used are NDFEB types for higher performance. Fastening is on top of a standard rod with a diameter of 41 mm.
It contains an integrated battery charging controller to prevent the battery from overcharging. The controller can be used in conjunction with a solar controller to create a hybrid energy system.
