UBNT EdgePoint R6

Ubnt Edgepoint R6 (EP-R6) is a gigabit router in the outdoor design with output poe on all five Ethernet ports and input PoE on the first port . Thanks to this product, you will no longer have to pull cables from the roof to the lower floors for each active element separately, or invent a complex solution containing an outdoor switchboard, switch installation, power and POE. Now you have everything in one.

As far as connectors and interfaces are concerned, the device contains 5x 10/100/1000MBPS Ethernet ports with POE support, 1x SFP port with a speed of 1 Gbps and DC terminal for direct connection of electricity. The whole device is powered by a dual-core processor with a clock of 600 MHz, 2 GB RAM and an inner storage of 4 GB.

Poe in
Ethernet power for Edgepoint ER-R6 has its limits and for more connected devices it is recommended to use power via DC terminal block. If necessary, the POE In Port is intended for ports No. 1. In case of use of POE In port 1, it is not possible to use the POE OUT function on this port at the same time.

Poe Out
Powering other devices is supported on all 5 ports with a 0.7 and/port.
It is a power supply (+4, 5;-7, 8). These ports are designed for powering eg: nanobeam.

Thanks to the very sophisticated EDGEOS operating system, it is possible to use the basic switch functions, configuration and monitoring of POE and advanced features such as VLAN, RSTP, LINK AGGREGATION, DHCP SNOOPING, Radius and Routing.
